A: You seem very relaxed.

B: I am relaxed.

A: I'd like to speak to the manager.

B: I am the manager. What would you like to know?

ARE YOU LISTENING?

A: Let's do something unusual.

 B: U-huh.

A: Let's get out of the city.

B: U-huh.

A: Let's go to that restaurant where we were on our first date, and eat seafood just like then.

B: U-huh.

A: Are you listening?

B: What?

FIGURE IT OUT

A: I don't know how.

B: You'll have to figure it out.

IN A HURRY

A: I have to talk to you.

B: I'm in a hurry.

INTENTIONS

A: What exactly are your intentions with me?

B: I'll tell you when the time comes.

A: When will that be?

B: Soon.

A: I want to know more!

B: My intentions are good. Are you happy now?

A: No.

B: What else do you need to know?

MONEY IS SINGULAR

A: Where did you get the money?

B: I found it on the street.

SOME, ANY, SOMETHING, ANYTHING

A: Have at least some carrots.

B: I don't want any carrots.

A: Have some peas.

B: I don't want any peas.

A: Have some meat.

B: I don't want any meat. I don't want anything to eat!

A: You must eat something! Have some cheese.

B: I don't want anything! Stop it, please!

YOU'RE EARLY

A: You're early.

B: You told me to come early.

A: You'll have to wait.

B: Why?

DON'T BE CHEEKY

A: Don't be cheeky.

B: What did I say?

AN EXPERT ON ST.

B: You don't know anything about Charles IV.

WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?

A:        Where have you been?

B:        Nowhere.

A:        That's not an answer.

B:        I want to go to bed.

A:        No. We need to talk first.

B:        I'm tired.

IT'S TIME TO GO TO BED

A:        It’s time to go to bed.

B:        In a minute.

A:        You have to get up early.

A:        What are you doing there?

B:        Please go away.

LEND x BORROW

A:        You stole it!

B:        I didn’t steal anything! I borrowed it from you.

A:        But I didn’t lend it to you.

B:        What are you saying?

IMPOSSIBLE

A:     I’m not Clarissa. My name is Linda. Do you understand?

THAT'S NOT ALL

A:     I have to go now, I’m sorry. But thank you for telling me.

B:     No! Wait! That’s not all!

DORMANT ANGER

A:        I want you to release your dormant anger.

B:        I’m not angry.

A:        You evidently are.

B:        I am not.

A:        You are fuming.

B:        What do you want from me?

RELAX

A:        Relax. Have some more wine.

B:        I really have to go.

A:        But we have so much to talk about!

B:        I told you: I don’t want you to make me drunk.

A:        What are you afraid of?

B:        Why do I have to repeat it? I’m vulnerable to alcohol. I always reel after two glasses, and I get really
